Teaching and Learning
Underpinning everything that we do at Alexandra Primary school is the idea of establishing a love of lifelong learning, rooted in knowledge and enriched by experience.
At Alexandra Primary school our teachers take pride in the knowledge rich curriculum that they have created. All children at our school experience a broad and balanced curriculum, fulfilling the aims of the National Curriculum, with carefully planned enrichment opportunities that enhance learning. We have the highest expectations for all learners and our curriculum enables them to achieve excellence.
In-line with our belief that all children should experience a love of lifelong learning, our curriculum is designed to ensure representation and participation of all groups. Our Equality Objectives and SEND report and PPG strategy outline how we achieve this.
Our subject leaders would welcome further discussions about our curriculum and can be contacted via the school office.
