Together we nurture the genius in everyone
Friday 23rd January
Friday has come round very quickly, and tonight is out first ever pyjama and film party
Thanks Mrs Higgins, for the lovely photos you have taken this week. I hope you will all enjoy looking at them too.
On Tuesday lots of reception parents came in to find our how we teach maths - and to have some fun learning alongside their children. On Wednesday, the hall was turned into a natural history museum, full of wonderful things that Susannah Ramsey has collected in Richmond Park over the years. Year 2 children were fascinated by everything from the huge antlers to the tiny mouse bones found in owl pellets. I bet they will be scouring the ground next time you take them up to the park to play.
This week we have introduced a special dining table for children in Year 1 and Year 2 who behave impeccably at lunch time. This week 9 out of the 15 year 2 children chosen came from Opal class - what well-behaved children Opal class are!
Friday has come round very quickly, and tonight is out first ever pyjama and film party. Excitement is running high - and that's just amongst the staff! Let's hope the evening is a huge success and we can make it a regular feature on the school calendar.
