Starting Nursery in September 2022
Children born between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019. Our nursery has one intake per year in September and your child must be three years old by 31 August to be considered.
Alexandra Primary School will be offering 78 Universal Entitlement places (15 hours per week). These will be Monday – Friday, 39 AM places 8:45-11:45 or 39 PM places 12:30 – 15:30). There is a space on our application form to indicate your preferred session; although this is for our information and cannot be guaranteed.
Extended Nursery Sessions
Alexandra Primary School is keen to offer as many places as possible to local children who want a place at our nursery for 15 hours per week (the ‘universal entitlement’). It therefore does not set aside any extended nursery session places. However, if we discover that we have spare places in either the morning or afternoon nursery sessions once we have satisfied our universal entitlement demand, we will then offer these spare places as extended sessions. These extended sessions are expected to begin from TBC September 2022 once all nursery children have settled into school. Please download the Extended nursery sessions Sept 2021 document below for more details.
Applications for Alexandra Primary School Nursery are dealt according to the rules stipulated in the RBK Nursery 2022 booklet.
The closing date for Nursery applications is TBC March 2022. Any applications after this will be considered as late applications and will join a waiting list.
To apply for a nursery place, you must submit a paper form to the school. Please contact the school directly for an application form or download the form at the bottom of this page. Please mention any siblings who will be attending Alexandra Primary School in September 2022.
Please contact Sarah Walters in the school office if you have any queries or need any assistance.
