We are really enjoying Oliver and the Seawigs by Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre. We're recapping prepositional phrases and adverbs. We are working towards writing an instruction leaflet.
We will be focusing on number, counting and place value. We will be ordering four digit numbers, rounding to the nearest 1,000 and one, ten, a hundred or one thousand more or less.
We will learn about when the Ancient Greeks were living and when the Golden Age of Athens occurred. In computing, we are learning about networks and the internet. In science we are classifying plants by observing features of the leaves and fruit. We will use this knowledge in our half day trip to Richmond Park on Thursday 30th September.
